Thompson, Newman & Kambam Consultants, LLC (ThNK Consultants) was founded by three nationally-recognized, established forensic psychiatrists. Drs. Thompson, Newman, and Kambam possess considerable expertise based on extensive training and experience, broad knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards. Each has provided deposition, administrative hearing, and trial testimony involving a range of topics. After corresponding as colleagues for several years, they sought to develop a one-stop resource for legal practitioners and corporate entities nationwide needing consultation involving psychiatric issues in a broad range of scenarios.

ThNK Consultants is a one-stop forensic psychiatric consulting firm. We offer expert witness services including record review and independent medical/psychiatric evaluations. In addition to traditional expert witness services, ThNK Consultants offers litigation consulting services. As questions arise during the pre-litigation period and litigation process, ThNK Consultants can answer questions involving selecting expert witnesses, vetting these expert witnesses’ credentials, and evaluating opposing experts’ opinions. ThNK Consultants can also utilize behavioral health expertise to provide input on additional trial-related matters, such as jury selection and framing legal arguments. ThNK Consultants also can advise on corporate, public policy, and other forensic psychiatric issues.

By pooling resources and utilizing a team-based approach, ThNK Consultants can bring collective expertise to consultations and offer services in a more timely, efficient, and economical manner. ThNK Consultants will direct clients to in-house forensic psychiatrists with the requisite experience and skills to address specific needs. When necessary, we can assemble groups of forensic psychiatrists with varied expertise to develop opinions and provide consultation.
